Kolej Magnat

Dont put all eggs in one basket, if the basket would fall, all eggs will break. So they say. But dont worry., Ive got backups.

So here it is - Kolej Magnat.

For many years I played Railroad Tycoon2. But then new versions of windows and new formats of discs etc.. Made it not possible to play. I have therefore for many years been thinking of creating such a game, and here it is.

In Kolej Magnat, you dont have to worry so much about the resources distributed between stations and cities the game does this itself. But you have to be quick to find cities to connect, as there are 2 AI players fighting about the ground on the Continent of Noua Oliua against you

So what about the author licence thing and that it is meant only for Educational and Private purposes? I'm not an Narciss, thinking only of my name and Ego but I wont tell that it is not an important part of the motivation to make and publish programs - if you are not an AI, yourself so to say. The most important is thus the fact that when programming, much time goes on making the program work perfectly, and to keep a control of versions, so that the versions containing bugs are eliminated in the later versions. Im not so fundamental of keeping control over the autor data and games that may be made using the knowledge and code from my games, however, there is a risk is that we will become games that cost money, or dont work, or hundred of other versions -some of which will work , some not- of this game leaning on my productions and this I dont want.

You see I have published many games on Itch.IO. They are playable and complete. I dont want to program more games. But use these games wisely, as a platform to start from if you want to learn programming games yourself. These games exist. Now you have to search for other themes for your games, perhaps making a Discovery Island game, where you among other players search for pieces of a puzzle on an unexplored island - these pieces put together would show an image of the place where a treasure is hidden. Just a suggestion.
